About the Artist
Bay area-based artist Theresa Felice creates ornate animal sculptures and paintings that draw upon elements from fairy tale literature and historical artworks of veneration. She is inspired by depictions of magic and narrative, as found in theatre, children’s stories, folklore, and mythology. Theresa collects sentimental objects and incorporates them into her sculptures as relics of experiences and feelings towards her loved ones. Her work has been exhibited at the Detroit Artists Market and Eastern Michigan University, in addition to CCS Student Exhibitions. She received her BFA at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit with high honors and a minor in Crafts & Material Studies.
